DEPUTY MINISTER OF MOT VISITED HVS

On the morning of May 27, HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding (HVS) was pleased to welcome Comrade Nguyen Xuan Sang - Deputy Minister of Transport and the delegation to visit and work at HVS.

The Deputy Minister inspected the entire factory before entering the office and hearing reports from the company. He highly appreciated how to organize production, ensure labor safety, and prevent environmental pollution at the factory.

Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Mr. Le Van Toan – Sn. V. President of HVS said that the enterprise is increasingly affirming its reputation in the regional market and the world for high quality, on schedule, and good attitude responsibility in shipbuilding. It is expected that in 2024, HVS will request a policy to build an additional 200m quay to meet increasing production needs. In the first 5 months of 2024, HVS handed over 8 vessels to customers.“I highly appreciate the achievements of many generations of leaders, especially the Korean leaders who worked alongside Vietnamese leaders and the team of skilled workers who built and created such a factory. He also emphasized that HD Hyundai Vietnam is a testament to the good relationship between Vietnam and Korea. In recent years, HVS has created jobs for thousands of workers in Khanh Hoa, contributed to the state budget, and always actively worked for local social security work. The government always stands by and accompanies HVS.”

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Kim Song Hag - President of HVS and the company's BODs thanked the Deputy Minister, and the President also affirmed that he will always develop HVS to contribute to the shipbuilding industry in Vietnam.
