HVS INCREASES BASIC SALARY FOR EMPLOYEES IN 2025

On the afternoon of November 15, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the HVS’s BOD signed an agreement to increase wages in 2025.

According to Mr. Le Van Toan - Chairman of HVS’s TU, after 04 negotiation sessions, both sides reached an agreement to increase salaries for employees in 2025.

According to the signed agreement, in 2025, HVS will increase the basic salary for employees by 10%, and the performance bonus will be 23.5 million VND/person. Increase the scholarship support for employees' children at the university-level of 5,640,000 VND/year, college-level 3,510,000 VND/year, and intermediate-level 2,400,000 VND/year.

The two sides also reached some agreements to consider increasing the remuneration for managers and bonuses for employees if the number of new vessels ordered exceeds the annual plan.

HVS currently has more than 3,000 employees. In 2024, HVS laid keels for 16 vessels, delivered 15 vessels, with an estimated revenue of over 604 million USD, and employees have stable jobs with an average income of 12 million VND/person/month.

I hope that the Union and employees will understand and share with the company, and work together to strive for a more stable and developed future for both the company and employees."

Since switching to new shipbuilding, HVS has delivered 179 bulk carriers and chemical tankers, achieving a revenue value of nearly 6 billion USD. In 2025, HVS will lay the keel of 15 vessels, and continue to promote investment in infrastructure and equipment to increase output and productivity, aiming to diversify many types of vessels in the future.
