LABORER’S CONFERENCE 2025

On March 21, HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS) held the Laborer’s Conference 2025. The purpose of the conference is for employees to participate in commenting and implementing solutions to improve the efficiency of production and business activities, for employers to fulfill commitments to ensure rights and benefits for employees, motivation for employees to work, and contribute to building a harmonious relationship. 

Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Manh Ha – Acting General Director of SBIC; Mr. Vu Minh Phu – Chairman of HVS’s MC. On the HVS's side, there were Mr. Kim Song Hag – President; Mr. Le Van Toan – Sn.V. President, Chairman of the Trade Union (TU); Mr. Kim Bo Sung – H. Manager; Mr. Ban Chi Myung – G. Mgr of HR Dep’t and 15 incumbent delegates and 125 delegates representing depts attended the Conference.

The conference approved reports on production and business results in 2024 – production and business plan in 2025; report on the implementation of the Collective Labor Agreement; report on the implementation of emulation, commendation, welfare, insurance, Trade Union funding, and charity funds in 2024; report on the settlement of petitions, complaints and denunciations in 2024; report on the results of department-level Employee Conferences and recommendations of employee collectives; reports on occupational safety and measures to improve working conditions; responding to the petition of employees.

Accordingly, the Company has implemented well, fully ensuring regimes and policies for employees in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations of the Company. Labor relations in the Company are stable, employees are assured to work, perform their tasks well, and contribute to completing production and business tasks according to the assigned plan.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Kim Song Hag affirmed: The conference is a valuable opportunity to exchange, share information and work together towards the sustainable development of HVS. To achieve this, he once again called on all HVS employees to work together, unite and reaffirm their determination to move forward together for the future.

At the end of the conference, all delegates approved the Resolution of the 2025 Employee Conference with high unity. On this occasion, Mr. Tran Manh Ha also presented a certificate of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the HVS Trade Union for its efforts and achievements in 2024.
