 HVS ACCOMPANIES THE PHAT BUU ORPHANS HOUSE

On the afternoon of May 28, leaders of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS), together with managers and team leaders, organized a visit and volunteer activities at the Phat Buu Orphans House, Ninh Tho Commune, Ninh Hoa Town.

With the spirit of sharing and community responsibility, the delegation has actively participated in the renovation of Phat Buu campus: Cleaning, painting and repairing the playground for children, making a base to keep the water tank and laying yard tiles with an area of 110m². In addition, the delegation also presented the orphan house with some items and food such as fans, rice and 70 gifts. The total value of support is nearly VND 60 million.  

Mr. Kim Song Hag – President of HVS, shared: "I am touched to see that the pagoda has opened its arms to protect and nurture many children in difficult circumstances. We are very happy to have the opportunity to accompany and support them through meaningful volunteer activities like this. We believe that our small activities can bring something more positive to their lives. In the coming time, HVS will continue to stand side by side with the Phat Buu Orphan House and local authorities to carry out more meaningful social activities like this."

The activity not only brings joy and practical support to the Shelter but also shows the spirit of solidarity and compassion of the HVS family. This is an opportunity for each member to spread the message "Sustainable development goes hand in hand with social responsibility" – one of the core values that HVS always aims for.

Phat Buu Orphan House is currently nurturing and caring for 70 people, including orphans and people in difficult circumstances. The main operating funds of the shelter are contributed and supported by benefactors, units and businesses inside and outside the Khanh Hoa province.
