VICE CHAIRMAN OF KHANH HOA PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE

WORKED WITH HD HYUNDAI GROUP

     On the afternoon of July 18, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa People's Committee, met with the delegation of HD Hyundai Group, led by Mr. Lee Sang Kyun, President of HD Hyundai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.

    Senior leaders of HD Hyundai Group, representatives of HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd. (HMD), HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS), and leaders of departments and branches of Khanh Hoa province attended the meeting.

    At the meeting, the leaders of HD Hyundai Group expressed their gratitude to the Khanh Hoa leaders for always accompanying and actively supporting the production and business activities of units under the Group, especially HVS. Timely support from the locality has created favorable conditions for businesses to invest and develop in the long term in Khanh Hoa.

Leaders of HD Hyundai Group also shared about the development orientation in the coming time, focusing on new shipbuilding, using environmentally friendly materials and technologies, in line with the sustainable development trend of the global shipbuilding industry. On that basis, the Group proposes to expand the scale of the HVS shipyard in Khanh Hoa to meet the increasing production demand.

HD Hyundai Group wishes to continue to receive attention and support from Khanh Hoa People's Committee in creating favorable conditions for administrative procedures, technical infrastructure and human resources, in order to help businesses develop sustainably and contribute more to the locality.

On the local side, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam acknowledged and appreciated the positive contributions of HD Hyundai Group in general and HVS in particular to the socio-economic development of the province in recent years. He affirmed that Khanh Hoa province always accompanies and creates all favorable conditions for businesses, including HVS, to invest effectively and develop sustainably in the locality.
