A POWERFUL TRANSFORMATION AT HVS

In 2025, HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS) marked a significant milestone with the launch of the “Junior Board – Master Board” program for the first time. This strategic initiative aims to foster creativity, encourage a mindof continuous improvement, and promote knowledge sharing across generations of employees.

With the message “Paperless – Work Diet,” the Junior Board introduced a completely new approach to modern working philosophy.

The concept of a “work diet” serves as a unique metaphor: reducing “calories” in work—meaning less paperwork, fewer redundant tasks, and less wasted time - to boost efficiency and fuel creative energy. The Junior Board’s project focuses on digital transformation, digitizing documents and workflows to make operations faster, leaner, and more environmentally friendly.

Despite initial challenges and unfamiliarity, the team received high praise from the BOD for their creativity, practicality, and proactive spirit.

Meanwhile, the Master Board centers its efforts on a mission of deep human value: “Passing on the expertise of skilled workers to newly hired employees.”

The program not only aims to improve productivity and craftsmanship quality but also serves as a bridge between generations - connecting experienced craftsmen with young workers newly entering the shipbuilding industry.
