HD HYUNDAI VIETNAM SHIPBUILDING SUPPORTED THE KHANH HOA PROVINCE IN FLOOD RECOVERY EFFORTS

On November 27, HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS) donated VND 500 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa Province to support local people in overcoming the consequences of recent floods.

At the handover ceremony, representatives of HVS expressed their deep sympathy for the losses and hardships currently faced by the local authorities and people of Khanh Hoa Province following the recent floods. With a strong sense of corporate social responsibility, HVS wishes to join hands with the local government in expediting disaster recovery efforts and contributing to the stabilization of residents’ livelihoods.

Previously, to promptly support employees affected by the floods, the BOD of HVS implemented an emergency assistance package for 3,120 employees, providing VND 1,000,000/person. In addition, the Company’s Trade Union decided to offer further assistance to 464 employees, each receiving VND 500,000. The total support amount of over VND 3.3 billion was disbursed promptly, helping employees quickly address initial difficulties and stabilize their daily lives.

These support activities demonstrate HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.’s spirit of solidarity and corporate responsibility toward the community, while also contributing to joint efforts with the local authorities and people of Khanh Hoa Province to overcome flood impacts, stabilize livelihoods, and restore production.
