CHAIRMAN OF HD HYUNDAI GROUP VISITED HVS

On March 24, Mr. Chung Ki-sun, Chairman of HD Hyundai Group, visited and worked at HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS). The visit underscores the Group leadership’s strong interest in HVS’s operations and its development direction in Vietnam.

During the visit, the Chairman toured the shipyard, inspected the shipbuilding process, and reviewed production progress, while also listening to reports on operational performance and arising challenges. HVS’s leader reported achieving results, showing stable production activities and a gradual improvement in product quality.

Chairman Chung Ki-sun highly appreciated the efforts of the workforce, emphasizing the need to maintain a balance between schedule and quality, as well as to strengthen risk control. He also placed special emphasis on occupational safety, calling for continued enhancement of awareness and preventive measures. The Chairman affirmed that the HD Hyundai Group will continue to invest in and support HVS in enhancing its capabilities and expanding its market, while expressing his expectation that HVS will contribute positively to the global supply chain and the development of Vietnam’s shipbuilding industry.

Following the working session, the Chairman had lunch with Korean employees at HVS, sharing and encouraging them about the challenges of living away from their families, and expressing his appreciation for their dedication to the Company.
